it's spring!!!
~~zippety-doo-dah~~
{our daffodils are much thicker this year, yay}
i have some spring cleaning to do, and i can't wait.
i'm setting myself some purging goals for a different area of the house, every week for this whole month.
annnnd...
some personal spring-cleaning.
it's that time of the year where i get lazy and have let some bad habits slip in. i usually coast it out to the end of year with firm resolve to Be Better in the new year..
but not this year. i'm planning an INTERVENTION on myself! ha~
i have selected just 3 (there are hundreds more!!) habits and behaviours i really, really need to change and will be replacing them with new, better habits every day this month.
(for example, one of mine is only using computer during the day at nap time/quiet time and then, turning it off. i usually leave it on, which means i waste a lot of time "checking in")
want to join? here's a little card for you to print out and hang up to remind you of your (habit) spring clean:

now, of course there MUST be a reward-upon-completion involved. (i think mine might be this necklace by NZ Green Buttons)...so pick a reward, find someone to keep you honest and be proud of finishing the year well.
(obviously, northern hem peeps joining in will have to embrace a "fall/back-to-school clean" :))

ReplyDeleteuh, yes. I need a kick up the butt with that computer thing too. and so many more. *sigh* at least it's spring now! xx
ReplyDeleteNice to know that you are in spring time when we are going slowly in the autumm here!
ReplyDeleteI love your intentional thinking. It makes me think about my life more too. THANKS. I also love the spring in my step that spring brings.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the mention! I've got lots to do Spring clean/change-wise - probably letting go of some things I don't often use would be a good start.
ReplyDeleteI love this idea! I'm in. Now to choose the habits to kick... I think the PC one is on my list for sure.
ReplyDeleteadding "turn of PC" to my list!
ReplyDeleteI love the fall here in Savannah (US) it is so beautiful and lasts for months with just a bit of a cold snap. we've been inside avoiding the heat for months and now we can enjoy outdoors again.
ah that should read "turn OFF PC"... i'm subconsciously rejecting that idea
