it's another party week!
i'm so excited.
and to help celebrate i have two guest "makers" for this week's Make my Week - Jada and her daddy, JR.
as you know, Jada is kinda (VERY) crazy about Little House on the Prairie. and if you know anything about L.H.O.T.P., you'll know this is what their home looks like on the TV series:

so yesterday afternoon, JR decides he and Jada are going to make a Little House house...out of ice block sticks.
and because they couldn't find a picture, they built from memory:
don't you think it'd be even cooler if the roof came off and there was a loft with a ladder inside?
nooo way!!! ;)
Jada made the walls, ladder and loft.
JR did the measuring, glueing and cutting.
pretty ace team work huh?
(why can i just imagine Danny Arlo losing his balance and planting his hiney right in the middle of it??!)

ReplyDeleteSo clever! I loved L.H.O.T.P when I was a kid. Although I regularly got freaked out by bits of it, remember the grass that would wind its way into the animals? Ewww.
