let's do some {painted} cross stitch!
you'll need:
1. cut your old eraser so that it has a small square shape at the end and mark an X.
2. using the craft knife (exacto) trim around the X to make a stamp.
3. using math paper and your pattern copy out your words as large/small as you like.
4. on the reverse, colour with charcoal pencil or chalk (or use carbon paper).
5. tape to wooden bowl and mark the location of each cross with a dot in the centre.
6. put a small amount of paint into a very shallow lid/tray/plate and stamp your Xs onto your marked dots (if you squint you may be able to see my dots - this is where i put the very centre of my X.)
done!
(check back later and i'll show you how i've "pinned" my home)

Great idea Dee!! I can't wait to try this one :) x
