i've been half-pie working on a concept for a small art exhibition with the theme "Renaissance", by adding to an existing painting.
it's never really had my heart (despite how much i wanted it to!) and i was 99% decided i wasn't going to enter.but i have a supportive husband who wouldn't let me back out. so i sent it off yesterday morning. BAD mail. 
then proceeded to feel sick about doing so for the rest of the day.

it was lovely to arrive home to lunch in the sun, that chair and some happy mail.
