sorry, still unable to reveal my current project. it's rather large and involves paint, which is never easy with curious, helpful kiddos lurking at every corner!! :)
(please don't get too excited...it's thrilling for me, but most likey very ho-hum for anyone else!)
i am also desperately trying to rally any of Ida Maude's genes that may flow in my veins. my grandmother had a fantastic ability to cope with all kinds of pioneer-ish difficulty with the least amount of fuss (think, 'keep calm and carry on' and all that other stiff-upper-lip kind of ethos)
and why am i rallying those particular genes? because in 4 days JR is leaving the Land of the Long White Cloud for the Land of the Free and the Home of the Brave for a whole TWO WEEKS.

Eek. I always reckon the worry and anticipation ends up being way worse than actually living through it. One day, hour minute at a time hey! I think You are a very brave lady and have heaps of pioneering spirit in you. You'll be just fine xx
ReplyDeleteYou poor thing! I bet it'll go super dooper fast. xx
ReplyDeleteoh I feel your pain! just focus on the plus sides i.e scrambled eggs for dinner, or even better, cereal dinners :)!
ReplyDeletekeeping the light on reading at night for as long as YOU want!! (that's a biggie for me).
You are truly overdue for some mail from me...when this post system gets back up running I shall make it a priority. xo
Good luck Dee! Don't forget that all your blog friends are around, even if your hub isn't! Not that we can do much. Except offer encouragement of course!
ReplyDeleteYou will be fine. I'm only a hop, skip and a jump away (OK, plus a little drive), if you need anything or anyone at anytime. You won't be alone- don't forget that. Cx
ReplyDeleteYip, kia kaha Dee! Although JR will be like a kid in a candy store. I have one very envious hubsta here that's for sure! xox J
ReplyDeleteSo with you on this my friend. While our guys sit together on the plane (for 12 hours of reading, talking, tv, sleeping, eating.... all uninterrupted....) I will be praying that they return to us so enouraged and that we will be..... rewarded handsomely! :) xx
