for Jada's birthday back in February i made her this cushion.
every so often JR or I will write a note of love or encouragement or thanks (etc) and leave it in the pocket for her to find when she wakes up.
she treats the notes i write to her in such a reverant way, as if they will suddenly disappear or become un-real. they are that special!
last night i wrote a big novel for her of mostly just blah-blah-blah - nothing too deep or meaningful - but tonight after i'd put them in bed i hear Jada crying softly. i ask her what the matter is and through heaving sobs she tells me that she accidently wrote on the other side of the note i'd written to her and... *sob* ...now... *sob*... it is... *sob* ...ruuuuuuiiiinnnnnned!!!
so sweet!
seriously, a pocket pillow is a great little love booster. you should try it.
oh, and i reckon a dump truck pillow (with the pocket "where-the-dirt-goes") would be equally well-recieved by a little boy :)
xo

aww that is such a gorgeous idea!
ReplyDeleteTOOOO cute! I made my Dad a 'Poppy's pillow" earlier this year- not too good at remembering ot put notes in tho - such a sweet concept huh!
