today has been a total fail on the mothering front...one of those days when 7pm cannot get here quick enough, yanno? then the internet connection was randomly "lost" (shrug) for awhile but we're live at last.

(PS that's my grandmother's sewing kit in the picture. she died when i was 15. isn't it the cutest? )
